These required competencies must be met before hiring, as they are mandatory.

BRIDGE PERSONNEL- CAPTAIN

Deck Officer Class 1 Certificate
IMO 80 Advanced Safety Course	Taken within last 5 years. Consists of modules A-VI/2.1 A-VI/3 and A-VI/4.1 or 4.2
A valid Health Certificate	Must be for Seafarers, not for rig workers
Relevant Experience	Must have served on OSV
Minimum DP Basic Course
GMDSS GOC	General Operator Certificate

BRIDGE PERSONNEL- CHIEF OFFICER
